In this sermon, we begin a short series through Paul's letter to Philemon. We're going to see that the gospel has implications that are disruptive to our societal structures. These implications often take longer to have their impact than we might like, but when they do, they break down divisions and bring together former enemies, refreshing the hearts of individuals and communities.

In this sermon, we are continuing our series through Colossians. We transition now from the foundational gospel message to its implications for those who are following Jesus and filled with the Holy Spirit. We see that Christ-followers live their lives in light of the reality of God's kingdom and that it's transformative for themselves and for others around them. 

In this sermon, we will see how Paul is going to continue to parse out what is a solid and sound way to follow and put our faith fully in Jesus and not in anything lesser. We will use Paul’s framework for the difference between the Shadow and the Substance, to help us keep the main things, the main things. 

In this sermon we will see how Paul is going to teach the church in Colossae how to walk in Christ and be prepared for anything that might distract them from true faith in Christ. 

In this sermon, we get to delve into the beautiful and messy community that is the local church. We see that the church is a people who have commonality in Christ that must intentionally be cultivated for flourishing.
