In this sermon, we get to delve into the beautiful and messy community that is the local church. We see that the church is a people who have commonality in Christ that must intentionally be cultivated for flourishing.
 

This is the final sermon in the Daniel Series. We see the futility of the nations raging compared with the sovereign plan of God and the hope that we have for the future.

In this sermon, we see that there is a cosmic conflict going on all around us. 

In this sermon, we will ask, "If God is truly in control, how do we access Him and fulfill His will?" We get to listen to his voice in scripture and the person of Jesus, we experience the flourishing life under the New Covenant of Jesus, and as we fall short, we practice the art of repentance, trusting his great mercy and plan to set the captives free. 

In this sermon, Daniel has a vision that goes deep into a tumultuous time in history and we see that God remains in control. 

This week, we begin to delve into the apocalyptic portion of Daniel, and we continue to see that kingdoms of this world will rise and fall, but God's kingdom lasts forever. 

In this sermon, we'll be looking at the differences and similarities between the prophetic and apocalyptic literature in the Bible, and we'll look at how we can labor to humbly and faithfully understand these types of passages. 

In this text, we see once again that God is faithful to rescue his people through dire circumstances. But we also get to see the importance of spiritual practices that ground us in loyalty to God. 

In this sermon, we will see that we are more like Belshazzar than we are like Daniel in this story. We too are guilty of taking God’s holy vessels to use for our own exaltation; we too fail to understand the mind of God; and we too fall short of what is required of us in the end. Judgment is eminent for all, and our own kingdoms must fall. It is only through Jesus that our fates do not follow the same outcome as Belshazzar. 

In this sermon, we see King Nebuchadnezzar resurrected from his animal-like state, and it is confirmed that God is indeed the Most High who rules over all.
