In this sermon, we see that Jesus is dedicated, true, and faithful to his church. 

Before Jesus tells these churches how to be in Babylon but not be shaped by Babylon, He first reveals Himself to John in a specific way. There is something in the beholding that is powerful. Let’s open our eyes and behold Jesus and marvel at what a powerfully present Prophet, Priest and King He is.

In this sermon, we will look at what it means to mature in community as followers of Jesus. It begins with prayer, acts wisely towards outsiders, and relies on those God has brought around us. Jesus alone ties us together, and our diversity is for our maturing and flourishing.
